In Fouesnant, near Benodet, the Mer Blanche Stud Farm welcomes riders, whether they are beginners or more experienced competitors at the horse-riding school, which also raises foals, offers pony rides and rides along the beach.
Trotting on the beach is usually reserved for experienced riders, but at the Mer Blanche Stud farm, everyone can do it. The place is set in a wonderful location and the horses are just right to enable everyone to enjoy that magic experience. With 30 miles of sign-posted trails in an unspoilt and protected natural site, come and let yourself get carried away… “Here, even total beginners can walk along the beach and remain completely safe,” confirmed Jean-Michel Mingan, manager of the stud farm. The Mer Blanche Stud Farm is also a nice little riding school. Children can sign up from the age of 6 and advance through the levels to take the various tests and learn how to jump. An experienced rider, Jean-Michel Mingan, also raises animals, trains and tames young horses.
